Blaugust Day 5: blogging and gaming to do list

Ok so, Blaugust.  This is going well and it has been a good reminder that I do actually have lots to write about if I a) let my mind wander whilst gaming b)remember to take screenshots of pertinent points and c) write about what I’ve been up to.  Some are better than others of course, but I’m not worrying about that for now.  However, I have decided that I’m not going to try and pre-write 5-7 posts for while I’m away nor am I going to try and catch up.  I would dearly love to have a full 31 posts for Blaugust, but I am away on holiday for a week and busy with house renovations and birthdays when I’m not.    Unless you are all dying to see pictures of the Isle of Wight? 😉

Elder Scrolls Online:
I hate the lull before a major update.  It feels a bit of a waste doing stuff with either my main (wasted xp you see, as the level cap is going up) or with my alt (there will be lowered levelling requirements and xp boosts to certain activities).  So I’ve decided to carry on thieving with my Nightblade and get my Templar through Cadwell’s silver.  There’s also a guild pvp night planned for Friday, which I may be able to join in on – we do have a Team Templar Craglorn group pencilled in – so we’ll see what everyone wants to do (I know the other 2 templars also like to guild pvp).  So yes, still grouping up 🙂 Oh, will carry on with the dreaded provisioner writs for my last 3 pieces of the psijic recipe…  and get on the test server when I can…

Guild Wars 2:
I haven’t written about this game yet – I’m waiting for thoughts to coalesce.  I was tempted in by HeadBurro Antfarm and joined the guild – having a blast so far, everyone is so nice and easy to talk to.  I’ve been reading HBA’s blog for ages now, so it was very cool to finally be in the same game at the same time and ‘meet’ 🙂  Looking forward to grouping up with guildies at some point too.  Hisses ‘The game is so pretty…’  I think this will be a perfect casual MMO, it seems quite easy to dip in and out of.  I’ve just been exploring maps, doing jumping puzzles and slowly working my way round.  So my only goals here are to get my 3 alt characters to level 10, carry on collecting pets and exploring with my sylvari ranger and try to meet up and chat with the guild as often as I can.

  1. Wow i just started playing GW2 too! How funny! Im lvl 11 atm 😀 Agree, seems to be a nice casual game to jump between ESO. But ESO Always comes first for me ❤

I love your blog! ´Linked it if u dont mind 🙂

    1. That’s a cool coincidence 🙂 I’m at level 16 on my Sylvari Ranger – she’s named Elfa Seren – do add her to your friends list if you want 🙂

Yes, ESO will also continue to be my main, but GW2 is so fun too… 🙂

and thank you – link away! enjoying your blog also, have linked to you too 🙂
